though it wont be completely dark, as the underground lighting will be on....

here is the best i could do.

as i said, once the halogens are on, the leds don't show up on camera too well.
though they are very noticeable to the eye (on low beam) once high beam is on, not that noticeable.

      here goes...

      in order...

      parkers only

      low beam

high beam (showing off my new spotties)

the camera just can't capture the true look of the lights.
i will see if they show up any better on video (tomorrow)

if i were you, i would get a set of these LED's, as any halogen (incandescent) globe will look very yellow next to HID lighting.

i plan on changing to HID later (once i get a set of projector lights).
i have Narva Blue Power H7's fitted now, and they are heaps whiter than the stock globes.
the old stock parkers were very yellow. now i have the led parkers installed, the Narva's now look yellow in comparison.

so i guess i know what my Xmas bonus is going on..... (HID)

When I say Xenon-Look.. I mean that the cluster looks like the Xenon's on the R32's etc.. The bulbs will be Halogen unfortunately..

Do you want them, Im happy to send them to you if so, PM your address,

        Cheers!!
I may just take you up on that offer.. I will however wait until I get the new lights as I may take the plunge and go for orange park lights (to blend in with the indicator when it's on)..

        Jason.

You probs won't get a good photo of the actual bulbs unless if it's daylight.. It'll be good to see them!!

yeah i've tried these on a bora couple of weeks back, but found them too bright and too white comparing to my lights. so now i went for some blue vision parkers.

i really want a set of those....
where did you get them from, and are they the correct beam pattern for RHD cars ?

            Jason.
DynaBeams are available on the TM Tuning website along with a few other light styles. I've found that their prices aren't all that expensive depending on what you go for..

                Ordered.

Should look better with them in my projectors. The parker light there is much better than up in the high beam.

Why did you get those ones?

Wouldn't a 6 LED focused white be better than that?

The 26 LED configuration is great for foot wells as it spreads the light (and you can't see it)...but looks ugly.

Not having a go, just curious

it's the Volkswagen Communication and Diagnostic Software.
with it, you can "fiddle about" with a great many things in the car....

Wouldn't a 6 LED focused white be better than that?
i don't think so. the fewer the number of leds, the less even the spread of light would be.

and here is the cable that you probably want.....
                              Cable

the software itself is free. to use it, you will need the cable.
entry level cable (that only suits the mk5 platform) start at $249 US + delivery.

                              it's on my shopping list.

Alright. So my GTI's dome lights are now all LED using the following in Pure White: I have these in all 5 overhead lights; the center festoon between the maps lights [2006 MY FTW] was removed. Now onto the issue. When I leave the lighting setting on 'door', the LEDs don't go out...

BLESK, same look as mine from JWarden above.

I discovered the Blesk / Maxlux LEDs when some VW owners in Europe posted about them - Brex buddy got them for me. Use two of these in the license lights - total $26 shipped in US - Plug and play - no resistor needed - simple bulb swap ... The packaging is labeled Blesk, the bulb is labeled...
