Look I had to fill up with normal BP diesel from Tingalpa today and I've gotta admit, I can feel the difference! (even if it was only about 20km driven)... Will try to stick with Ultimate Diesel from now on...Originally posted by 85turbo View Poston a recent trip to Brisbane, i was lucky enough to get the opportunity to put a full tank of ultimate diesel from BP in the golf.
while i cant say there was any more power, it was a lot smoother, a little quieter, and a little less soot.
so when it finally gets to sydney, i will be using it all the time.

Hi guys, I guess I should ask here - and preemptively say g'day in case you are in also Sydney's north & northwest.
Is anyone here able to monitor when the BP premium diesel is available in Sydney?

i would suggest keeping an eye on these forums. as soon as it starts being delivered to the servo's, you won't be able to miss it.....
plus, there's likely to be some sort of advertising campaign to go with it too...

The first stop into Sydney off the F3 you will be able to find a BP, Normanhurst.
1.20/L diesel on a Sunday seems to be the best deal I've seen.

This is my servo and I live on the Central coast.Originally posted by Bizi View PostThe first stop into Sydney off the F3 you will be able to find a BP, Normanhurst.

Always the cheapest in the area.
Two diesel bowsers,so three diesel pumps and 1 highflow
The Indian employees always very friendly.
And if you fill up just before they close the doors (11ish) they ask you to take a pie or cake from the display counter.

I'm really glad to get this feedback. Yes, the person there, who seemed to be the owner or manager, was very helpful.Originally posted by neil View PostThis is my servo and I live on the Central coast.

I told him I had trouble pumping in the diesel and he said I was using thehighflow (the v. thick hose, obviously!). I'll try the others next time.
Do they run their diesel pricing up and down or pretty constant pricing? Shell & Caltex are always 124.9-125.9 in Thornleigh/Pennant Hills anyway, so BP Normanhurst 'ULS' diesel's a great deal.
I hope it remains this way.

Yeah you must have pulled up on the outside bowser near the Main Rd.Originally posted by Bizi View PostI'm really glad to get this feedback. Yes, the person there, who seemed to be the owner or manager, was very helpful.

You have another 3 options, go on the inside of the one you tried, or drive
up next to the glass doors to the shop or the other side of this pump.
I find no one seems to go to the glass door side, its always empty while
all the other diesel users sit in the line for the outside pump.
Their pricing is always consistent and hardly moves.
I think he must calculate the diesel price on what he pays on the day the
tanker delivers the fuel.
Always 5 cents cheaper then everyone else in the area including the BP
at Thornleigh.
