APR Full exhaust for me....if it ever gets here !! From the clips and reviews I have seen it is a real winner....just hope it is worth the wait.

Why? I decided to go with a tried and tested brand with matching software and great local support etc. plus the R&D to make sure they have a great product over the long haul....

....plus it will be a great match for the rest of my kit

I will review after install if it helps you make a decision ?

exactly right... The less resistance the turbo gets the quicker it should spool up! (correct me if I'm wrong here!)

Hi Mass, still waiting for the exhaust to come from the US of A. ...been waiting for a while now (Guy can explain), The good folk over at Volkspower have looked after me and all my mods to date and the occassional snag on a Friday =))

..so I haven't seen the final bill yet but ordered in the sale period and with the cross rates appreciating in favour of the AUD and being a loyal customer and all I expect a good deal

I'll shoot you a PM when it is all done...should be about a week ? and be happy to meet up if you are in the GW area to show it off (I grew up in GW...sort of grew up). I'm really looking forward to it

...really only leaves an FMIC and Stage III left to do

Now the latest ship date we have for the RSC's (ex US) is the 20th - hopefully if all goes well - it will be shipped to Volkspower direct!

Prior to having it I had the APR ECU update. I can tell you that there was a noticeable difference in performance after having the exhaust upgrade done. Mainly because, as Guy has mentioned, there is a corresponding ECU update to take advantage of the upgraded exhaust.

I purchased the quad tip version because, well, if you're going to spend $3000+ on an exhaust, it may as well look cool as well!

Although my GTI is long gone, I still have the exhaust btw. It spent only 10k on my car before my car was retired and now the exhaust is lovingly bubble wrapped and living on the floor of my bedroom, lol. So if anyone in the Sydney area is interested, pop me a PM.

hehehe.... it's just cause of the angle of the drive way. The car balances on 2 wheels at a certain point. I have another one from another angle with a pair of sunglasses under there.

This was the day before I had my Oettinger Type RE wheels on the car.
The suspension is just the stock GTI suspension though



And since I've already highjacked this thread... this was with the Oettinger wheels too....
