  • Cheapest deal for GTI Pirelli

So, I've come up with the thought of possibly trading in my Jetta for a Pirelli.

I've had the Jetta for the last 4 months, but i can never seem to get out of my mind the first time i sat in a Pirelli... I instanteously fell in love with it. The only thing that was stopping me was the funds. So I bought my beloved 2.0T Jetta from my brother in-law for 26k, with 26000k on the clock.

As much as I love it, i do intend on making it quicker, so i came up with the thought that if im planning on upgrading/modding the Jetta, wouldnt i be better off trading in the Jetta for a Pirelli? The Jetta is currently sitting on 35000km, in need of new tires, new brake pads, intending on getting a reflash, new wheels, turbo upgrade, downpipe and a few others. That being said, I could probably trade in the Jetta for more then i bought it and buy a Pirelli.

Would this be a good idea, or am being too optimistic?

That being said, whats the cheapest deal people know of Pirellis being sold?

Sounds like the decision has been made.

I suggest you go to dealer and see what they offer, but be preapred to be shocked how low they offer on the trade in. This will be a quick reality check.

You're probably looking at a 20~25k change over, that's almost what you paid for the Jetta.. An important figure..

But a chipped Pirelli makes 330hp.. Thats an equally important figure

I assumed it was a demo although the term driveaway isn't used on registered cars...

So DMS Dan was offered one for $37K and he didn't take it? Definitely don't use this one as a guide.....

I reckon the Jetta is a great car. Have been driving one around for the past week while waiting for my Pirelli. I had even thought of buyng this Jetta instead !

Sounds like a cracker of a deal, less than me and the missus going to the movies and I grab a popcorn and a large coke!

If this is true for a new (non-demo) vehicle it is incredible price. I just bought a black 5door Pirelli with rear sensors and RNS510 for $49000 drive away. $1-2k less would have been achievable if I found a dealer that has one in the yard (new), but nothing in SEQ
