Just had a long trip up country and agree that at about 120 on speedo equals about 110 on GPS. Also went through speed chacker and same result.
Does any one know is it is a constant 10% (i.e. accross all speeds)?

Not...according to my service manager its 7% max.

Also those speed checkers normally have a disclaimer... strange as they use same tech as speed cameras!

The table in this link shows a constant 10% error (compared to GPS and CANBUS speed) accross all speeds from 40 to 100 kph.

It also suggests a fix (partial?) but you need Vagcom to do it.

Has anyone tried it and what was the result. There is one post on the site that said it improved it but not 100%. Poster had 18 inch wheels don't know if this affected it.

Yes and my results are on the page. Will be doing some more testing with 18" wheels soon but I expect the result to be within 1-2kph of those results as the size is almost identical.
