DSG strange behavior!!Please advice

If you MUST drive @ 100km/h in "S" mode...and you want the DSG box in 6th gear...then accelerate up to 100km/h using the "S" option, then when you reach 100km/h, hit the cruise control (turn it on). You will find that the vehicle will happily drive in 6th gear as you wish.

WARNING: Touching the brakes, or turning the cruise control off, will immediately engage the "S" part of the DSG computer, and the car will automatically change gears (probably to 3rd or 4th). Be prepared........

even if that method does work, WTF is the point of cruise control in S mode???

Yeah...I know T...my missus found out how to do it.

She "guns" it from the lights in S mode...then hits the cruise control when she reaches the posted limit....

Saves her changing the stick.
