Thanks SS, I love Konis as far as durablity, reliability and als having the adjustable valving. The front adjusters are accesible under the bonnet. Also in many years to come they can be revalved or rebuilt.
I would hazard a guess that the standard shockers would be Sachs. They usually are but dont have the name on them. Only VW part numbers are on them.
I haven't had Mk5 ones out yet but the Mk4 shockers are sooooo soft! Its not unusual to see the rear of Mk4s pogo,ing on some of the roads down here. I have never been carsick, until doing a drive south of Hobart here with the standard shockers and Eibach springs! Konis sorted that very soon after that!
