Ah so that's the mysterious VW Jetta. All this time and I just thought it was a booted Golf. :p
Nice photos. It's always good when your car is clean. You just want to look at it and drive it but you know that after an hour of driving it will be dirty again.

It's much more than a golf with a boot...

I upgraded from a mkIV golf.

While I realise the mkV is a little bigger, I have ridden in a colleague's mkV golf and my Jetta is soooo much more ...

Stylish, sophisticated and with many more features.

My only complaint is that the appearance is a little too conservative.

It's definitely a car for grown-ups.

Black was my second choice.

Agree with Karen, the Jetta appears more grown up.

I love everyhting about my jetta too, but i wish they called them a golf for ease. Also wish the TFSI was more GTI/R32 like (but not like the one in the GLI in the USA - so bad).

I think if it was badged as a golf resale would be easier for those not so educated folk too. Like a subura...they have the WRX as a hatch and wagon, same car different shape

Jetta is becoming more popular, in Sydney anyway. I went for drive around our local streets with my learner (in the Subaru, not Madam Jetta) and within a 2km radius I counted about 6 new ones. Resale might not be such a problem in a few years time.

Besides, I like this car so much I might drive it till the engines dies. Does that ever happen to diesels
