      My significant other drives an auto Outback.

      The learner is taking manual lessons with the drive school so she will eventually drive my car too. She's had a couple of goes and she's not too bad. Must have the right genes

      I think re-sale will depend on the right level of demand. Few more on the road to show how good they are - but not so many as to make them real easy to acquire. We need the balance to be just right!

      The build quality and prestige badge will always keep the resale higher than any Falconodore or rice box.

        Great looking car though being a Jetta owner myself I own up to being completely bias

          Karen,I live in the SE suburbs of Melbourne,which does have a high concentration of VWs,but am amazed every day by how many Jettas I see.
          It has become quite mainstream,just like in many other parts of the world.
