Wow it is confusing..

From what i've gathered on this thread, if you want to control the unit from your steering wheel, you have to go the iPod connection (30 pin). But i think that means you can only use 6 playlists at once.

no! you need to get the dension 100/300/500 models and you can control everything with steering wheel buttons BUT only if you have the full height MFD.

I know i'm off topic... But your car tells you how much fuel you have left in litres?

gateway 100.. $275.. part only.. just sounds pretty dear for what does..

how hard are they to install yourself? i imagine plugging them in is easy.. tho im curious about running the cable to the glovebox..

one last thing can anyone tell me how to tell which head unit i have?
