    im tossing up between H&Rs and Eibach Pro Kit Springs

    im happy with my handling as is so im really just chasing a drop to suit my new wheels and i dont want any extra clunking or groaning etc

      Are the Eibachs progressive on the GTI? They're not on the Skoda, as you may recall.

        im really keen on the Eibachs but i recon 15mm isnt enough of a drop... or is it?

          15mm is about a fingers width or there abouts.. maybe try photoshop your car with that amount of drop??

          i think with springs, it will be hard to tell how much they actually drop depending on how they settle. they might drop more than they claim.

            Here's some pics of the Eibachs on stock shocks with 18's.

            Yeah, the drops are only 1"-1 1/4" so it is barely noticeable; but they definitely got rid of those hideous 4x4:thumbsup: I wish they were a little lower but I am really happy with the increase in handling and comfort. It looks better in person since the tires filled up the gaps really nice...

                  Ok,

                  So I'm tossing up between the H&R OE sports springs with a .75" drop or the H&R sports springs with a 1.5" drop...

                  Have been told that the FSD's don't like to go too low so would I be better off with the OE's ?
