Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

The weather been pretty appauling today, and just as i was about to take the cover off, it started drizzling, thus delaying my photoshoot. Once i get an opportunity to clean the car properly ill take some snaps.

What were you doing with the cover on if you've just bought the thing!

Well...when you do take some snaps, don't cut the nose off, and the blue doesn't match that horrid fence colour....

I love my R32. Welcome to the club.

Congratulations on your new purchase. Obviously, the RTA transfer of rego went through smoothly, and the REVS check was alright afterall?

Hanging out to see some pics of your ride.

Since you've got the RNS510 Sat Nav, do you have the MFD plus in your dashboard? Does that also mean that various functions like coming home/leaving home lights are fully programmable now rather than having to take it to the dealer to have it programmed?

You can also do this with VCDS (vagcom) . A few members on here have it. Add your location and Vehicle details and someone local may help.

I got the cheaper SatNav solution the MDF2, disappointingly, but it appears i have the options to configure, coming home and leaving lights via the MFD function menu.
