Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. • r32 tail lights part numbers

    Hi,

Does anyone have the R32 tail light part numbers to hand. I believe theres four parts in total. I'm looking to get a set for my black gti as they look well nice.

I've priced a supplier in the UK at 170GBP plus 90GBP delivery which equates to about $540 at the current exchange. so whould be interested what the stealers charge.

    Cheers

If you're going to spend that much why not get the dark oem LED units, at least you have something to show for your money rather then some darker stock units. The LED ones look cool and are not much more, check out places like oempl.us, tmtuning.com and parts4euro.com amongst others.

Thanks for the feedback, I hadn't really considered the LED route. Are they OEM, if so from which model?

Can I throw this one out then,

has anyone fitted these to a black golf in the Brisbane area as I would love to see these in the flesh.

        Cheers

I dont believe they came on any cars from the factory, but they are produced by OEM parts manufacturers Hella and Valeo so they are top quality products.

Bazzle: Ongie and Chris have the LEDS fitted to their cars over on golfmkv.com

I've wanted these for bloody ages like a lot of other things, but cashola is a problem hahaha

Sell your R32 tails and you will get a lot of it back! Clearly theyre in demand With the exchange rates the way they are at the minute it would probly cost around $500 to bring in some R32 tails

They came standard on the Golf plus and a number of other Golf models in Europe.

The only 'small' problem is that they come for left hand drive and the reverse and fog lenses are on the wrong side. You can swap them over, or there is a guy in Melbourne who will do it. Do a search on the forum.

They're rubbish, the quality is poor and they look like the cheap rubbish fitted to every second rice mobile. If you search google or vortex you'll find some pics of these fitted.
