Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

DZL - GT had these on his car before. They looked ok in the metal, not my cup of Sake, but not too ricey either.

Just spoke to the dealer - I've ordered the R32 tails. "Cherry Red Dimmed" Is how their parts people referred to it over the phone. 4 pieces (inner and outer ie: the bits that fit on the body, and the bits that fit on the tailgate)

      Total cost approx $600 inc.

        Thanks for all the replys,

I'll probably stick with the OEM R32's, It's what I prefer, just a subtle mod that'll make me smile.

You're in Brisbane, so before you go to the dealer, go to ASV Euro Parts (http://www.eurocarparts.com.au/) at Northgate. I replaced both of my Bora's headlights with genuine VW parts for less than the price of one!
