  • KWs are in!

    Hi All.

Well after the Tune, Full Exhaust and 328mm brembos, the KW V3s went on today.

The doods who fitted it set it up to KW's factory spec, and they set the ride height about 20mm lower than the standard pirelli (which is itself a bit lower than a standard GTI). You can just squeeze your hand in between the guard and the top of the tyre - which is good, I didn't want it stupidly low.

Ride is firm - not hard. The nose barely dips under very heavy braking, and it goes around corners like it's on rails.

I've not had a chance to properly test it out, but will tomorrow on the Pirelli's first track day!

    Will post some pics later....

              Well done.

It would of been nice to of had you track it with standard suspension 1st so you could compare track times.. enjoy

                          Pic

                          here you go...

This is after it was raised about 10mm for the track.. I was having some 'bottoming out' issues on hard cornering.

It's setup pretty OK now for the road, just not optimum for the track.. Which is fine really, coz I'll only be going to the track once in a blue moon.

Back end sits a bit low compared to the front, needs a bit of adjustment.
