R 32 exhaust upgrade

well considering the exhaust and connecting pipe (replaces the 2nd muffler - i belive this is the "non-res" version) costs $3k before shipping it would make it clost to $4k landed which is a HELL OF A LOT OF MONEY!!!

next on the list would be Arqray for me. They seem to make some pretty good systems. But i'd probs get a chip first then exhaust. I'm going to take my time, as if i do everything all at once, I might get bored hahaha, only had the car since October!

Unless youve robbed a bank just stick with the OE exh, sounds good (with flapper mod) and I reckon gives same hp as any aftermarket cat back.

I know that Mike Webber (VW master mechanic do a search for recommended suppliers and mechanics in Brisbane) has a couple of stock MkV R32 exhausts sitting in his workshop. Not sure what they got replaced with though?

One was replaced with a Milltek Resonated Cat Back.
