Not sure if this thread is done n dusted, but I'm curious to hear what your views are on the suspension..

I've got a 2006 Jetta TFSI and lovin every minute I drive in it. From what I've heard, getting a rear sway bar put on is probly the best move handling wise as it takes out the large factory understeer without compromising the ride too much..

      Those wheels look pretty nice!!

Any ideas where I could get something like this done in Melb and how much it would cost???

A bar 50 to 80% stiffer will help it turn neater and exit tighter.
You will always get a bit of understeer with front wheel drive depending on how much throttle is applied.

A rear swaybar made a dramatic difference to my TDI. From memory I got the same diameter, but solid from Whiteline, and am running it at the hardest setting. Blends with the stock suspension nicely in my opinion.

Universal Shield at Brookvale. Speak to Chris Murphy. I got him to cover my whole car but you can do just the front.

LOL I did that for 2 months, I was actually quiet happy with it until I got my new tyres and i had all these 'clean marks'.

LOL This thread was created ages ago when i got my car, i cant believe someones revived it... Since then I recently took to the performance route and went:

                    In order:
                    1. New Tyres
                    2. Unitronic Stage 1+ ECU
                    3. Downpipe
                    4. Torque Insert

Thanks to Seb for all the help and for his great work!

Torque Insert, is that a Torque Arm Insert?

What exactly does that do? Also, what is your ride? Have a feeling we might have the same car (different but the same)

Do people here go Aftermarket for tint or just through the dealer?? I've always wondered this.... Doesn't really affect me since I'm a used car man, new car depreciation just kills me!

If u want to get ripped off then go dealer unless u get it thrown in for free at time of purchase.
