    1. A good shade that is easy to set inside the car's front windscreen.
    2. Has no stick on the window suction cups.
    3. Covers as much glass as possible.

I've got one of those cheapies that folds like a paper fan, in this heat it tends to collapse, plus it's not quite big enough.

I've posted this in here because I after something that people find fits the golf windscreen well.

    Thanks
    Paul
I just cover the windscreen with a blanket of a suitable size. I try not leave either of our cars out in the sun when it gets so hot.

Especially if you follow the advise and leave the sunroof open.

The metal stops it from sagging and it works perfectly as well as being compact. Folding it takes a bit of getting used to but it's perfect for what you're after.
The only sunshade worth buying in my opinion.

Might have to give this a go!
Is there a particular brand name on the package? otherwise it takes me too long to find these things

          Completely Folded shade.

          Semi Folded (Expanded).

          Fully Unfolded.

Might have to give this a try, putting anything on the outside is not a good option. The area here is quite dusty so therefore antyhying outside all day and then brought into the car will fill the inside with dust.

I'm leaving the sunroof tilted, with the blind closed, hopefully that will minimise the heat and dust.

Get one of the solar powered air exchangers....they are placed on top of the glass window and the window is closed. You leave your air setting on the outside circulation setting and the solar powered exchanger has a small extraction fan in it and constantly changes the air in the vehicle.

Where did you buy it? I bought one at SuperCheap auto and it's too small

I got it from a small (non main stream) Auto store at a shopping complex in Adelaide called West Lakes.

It's the perfect size, but the package wasn't marked small or large, it was one size fits all.
