Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Guys, settle down. If you have an Aussie GT or GT Sport you have MED 17.5.

    It is only the early european ones that had a different ECU and they were never sold in Australia.

    So it is only 1 ecu that everyone is developing for. I have spoken with a greek tuner and they have done GT and GT sport both 17.5 and same results.

        Where is this sound insulation and how can i take it off?

        Ive taken all the under bonnet insulation off as well as anything else not bolted down so, this sound like a good next step!

            I've heard that supercharger insulation weighs an absolute TON...

            PS Maybe if we all rip the insulation out we could donate it to those softcock oilers as a goodwill gesture to society... [joking, cogdoc]
