Got the flapper mod sorted!!

Unplugged hose from vacuum wastegate thingy and plugged it into one of the rivet/nibs.

Very happy with the result !!

I pulled the vacuum hose off mine and plugged it a long time ago and it didn't make any difference. Flap was actually open when car was off and also in idle, so maybe it has always just stayed open, i.e. disengaged?

This is also what i noticed too. But from what i read, it stays open when in idle to give louder burble whilst idling, but once you step on gas it will close.

Is i hard to replug the hose? Missus might not like the extra drone lolz...but i sure do!! hahahah

Where are you located?? what model R32?. add to details.
