2007 Jetta BKD 2.0 tdi

My trusted and much loved Jetta has started a siren like sound
on start up and at times when under load.
I know these engines are bulletproof. I only have 227800kms on the clock and I love this car.
is there any way to fix issue or is it a turbo replacement.
has any had this problem before. The car still drives but that noise is of concern to me.
I love this car not only is it attractive it handles very well

Best to have a competent mechanic check it out - if you are lucky then it might be a boost leak (eg a boost pipe has cracked due to age and is leaking air) or it could be a dying turbo. Does the car feel down on power?

Hi thanx mate.
the power still feels normal but on the odd occasion it may blow a bit of smoke but not all the time,
one day it felt like it was going to stall at the lights at idle but it has not that again that was four months ago.
