    Instrument cluster stop working

    This morning golf mk5 1.9 tdi 2004 year start normal but nothing on dash, car is working, when i turn off and lock-unlock, again start(this i repeat 3 times) , all went back but coolant red light is glowing, what is wrong? No vcds for moment, any clue? Thanks

    Looks like cluster is faulty. Would need to get another one from a wreck and get your immobilizer data transfered over to the replacement using suitable tools such as AVDI, VVDI2, SMOK etc

      Im confused, make otput tests on dasboard and now all gagues and display work, this 00003 error stay and say on google that is radio related,have aftermarket, dont know location of control module from dashboard , is under steering wheel or is located in same dashboard? Thanks

        The dashboard control module is the dashboard itself. The board is behind the gauges.
        If it's working again now then just keep an eye on it see if it recurs.

          I open dashboard cluster to see if some contact is bad, and all seems ok,nothing burnt, little board behind dial boards have capacitors and all is in good condition, must go further and check maybe body control module?
          Can it be that is related to something else?
