Now just have to get my finances sorted out.
Try Credit Union Australia for finance, I got my personal loan for my Pogo through them and they are great to deal with, practically throw the money at me, can make extra repayments without fees whenever I want, they already put the interest rate down in anticipation of the the reserve back making a drop too.
I don't know anything about financing for corporate so might not work for you.

Also did you ever check in at Werribie Volkswagen? I got my car from there they were really good to deal with.

I wouldn't neglect the VW dealer themselves finance wise. They certainly ended up giving me the keenest deal. Took a little to and fro-ing, but in the end a best mate who is a very experenced finance broker said he couldn't beat it ( he is more interested in houses, makes stuff all out of cars ). I then got VW ( capital finance in this instance) to wave most of their up front fees and we had a deal.

I was polite, kept the finance girl in the loop, and in the end it was all too easy. Certainly been good to deal with, get info from post sale.

Seems like a miriad of choices finance wise.

Spoke to the fleet buying people today, and they also said they tender out finance options just like they do when getting the cars. Apparently they have access to over 15 of the biggest financial institutions. So will see what they can do for me too!

I dealt with Burwin at Ferntree Gully and they were very helpful - you can also search for new cars on carsales.com and track down new cars in all states - you then either buy from the dealer with the car or request the victorian dealer have the car trucked down to them.

The dealers are supposed to put all cars on a dealer intranet, but you may find ( as i did) that not all new cars are listed on the dealer network.

All cars coming into the country that are not sold to a customer (they must have a customers details listed) are visible to all other dealers who can obtain the vehicle by negotiation which is generally a swap.

Dealers are not allowed to hide cars by registering false customer information but apparently it does happen.

So the dealers don't have to do anything to have them "listed" as they are listed by default.

I spoke with James from Burwin today. Very helpful and got a quote over the phone which was exactly what i wanted to hear! He was the first dealer that even asked me if i could get fleet discount. I told him I was a member of APESMA, he checked the VW lists, and I was entitled to one!! Happy days!! Gonna pop in this week and hopefully sign a contract!!

*sings I'm so excited* into the distance!!

                    Thanks Steve!!

I've been on a two-minute noodle diet for the past month so I can save enough for a significant cash deposit!!

James also said there were no Candy White R32s in the country and only one 3dr w/ sunroof DSG left (my first choice). So gonna go with a Blue 5 door

I had the choice of a Silver 3 door, White 5 door or the Blue. Took the Silver 3 door. Had it 4 days now... very happy.

I was in at Burwin today but missed James.

                        Hi Barry,

To answer your question, my name is Terence. I found James to be extremely helpful when I called him the other day.

Do u know how many kms were on the clock for the blue 5 door? How much is too much for a "brand new car". I hope not more than 100kms.

                        -Terence.

Great work mate glad it all worked out, I think from memory 0-50kms is pretty standard on a brand new car, not sure maybe someone else could chirp in but 100kms or more is a lot for a brand new car and I'd be asking for some compensation.

and for the record I'm in the south east too, Werribie just gave me the better deal in the end....plus it's only 10 minutes from work.

                              Terence,

Good timing. I just found out this morning that you cannot order anymore R32's from Germany. What's on the boats coming here, what's here in Oz unallocated.....IS IT. FINITO. ALL OVER. THAT'S ALL SHE WROTE. NO MORE.

                              Comprende?

So..if you (as you have) or anyone else finds an R32 that is half close to what you wanted spec wise...grab it. Because the factory do not make them anymore.

                              Now...who wants to buy a MKV R32?
