Sachs are a very reputable brand. You will probably find your stock clutch is also Sachs.

Might be worth getting a few quotes in that case.

Have a chat to Transporter: VW Servicing Adelaide
He does mobile servicing in Adelaide. Not sure if he can do a clutch but he might be able to put you in touch with someone he recommends.

Can't help you with a place to get it installed in Adelaide, but I got my BFI heavy-duty clutch + SMF kit installed by Volks Affair in South Melbourne for ~$600 (about 4 hours labour); my clutch kit cost about $1500 shipped from the US, and it was about twice as much as a LUK-branded OEM clutch kit + DMF if I remember right. If you buy the parts yourself and find a good independent shop to install it, it shouldn't cost you much more than $1500, if that.
I'm assuming your car is a manual? My mechanic reckoned the clutch install was pretty straightforward; if the car only cost $4500 it might be worth seeing if one of the chain mechanics (Auto Masters etc.) can do it for less if you supply the parts?
