    after some advice since im in moderation still, i have an07 mk5 golf 2.0 tdi, i have an egr blank plate, now im just wondering if its as simple as putting the plate in and done or will i run into problems going into limp mode etc?

    You will most likely end up with the check engine light on on the dash. The EGR needs to be programmed out.

      Thanks thats what i thought im not fussed about the light, just wonderd if it would cause limp mode? Thanks

        As above - you cant simply block off the EGR without having the cars ECU file adjusted to suit otherwise you will get check engine lights and other possible issues such as limp mode.

          Thanks guys ill go with your advice im due for a timing change so got a quote on stage 1 tune with egr delete so ill save and go with that [emoji106]
