Changed the oil today and noticed the drivers side (i think it's driver's side, I was upside down
) CV boot cover has split.
Not a large split fortunately, but I'll get both side's boots changed.
I'll get a mobile mechanic to change it with me supplying the parts.
I think it's the outside boot that split, can someone please confirm.
Someone mentioned you need to disconnect the shalf from the transmission and then top up transmission fluid? Doesn't sound right to me.
