Hi all, just bought a 4Motion Mk4 and know very little re the mechanicals on these - the clutch pedal starts to engage the clutch about half way up from floor, is this how the MK4s are or can adjustments be made? any advice appreciated..

It's probably on it's way out.
Don't try and adjust it, as you'll have a very hard time trying to get a decent pedal and a non-dragging clutch when it comes time to replace it.'07 Transporter 1.9 TDI

The problem is i think adjustment is only possible through the pedal as the clutch is hydraulically driven no cable. A lot of threads on vortex say your basically stuck with it.sigpic
