so what did it cost you all up as my bf is interested in this mod?

After all said and done is it cheaper to get buy a BBK from the states or second hand?

just do it properly....bigger brakes means updating everything else to do with them

Isn't the point of brakes to go slower?

I'm picking up my R32 brakes for my Bora shortly. Apparently the rears are a direct swap on the V6 4Motion (so no need for the adapters required for a GTI).

I'm so sticking with the blue calipers!
        Nothing to see here...

          Too much

I haven't added it all up but probably around the $2000 mark. I still haven't taken it through the mountains/anything that would warrant the larger brakes - Keen to get onto the track in the winter when the weather cools down.

Manaz - If your Bora currently has vented discs on the rear it will be a straight swap I believe. GTIs and A3s don't standard so the vented R32 discs are much thicker - Hence the spacers.

I'll check to be sure, but I believe that the V6 4Motion gets the beefier rears due to the AWD drivetrain (thus it's the same as the R32).
