I know this is going to be a long shot but does anyone know of any none r32 3rd mk4s coming up for sale or for sale I don't mind what engine, gearbox or colour it is just craving one in Australia haha.

All oz mk4 were 5 door except the r32.

There was one in Canberra that was on the market a while back.

Said to be imported by VGA as a trial.

Two came up a months ago! Both uk imports. Rare and were cheap!

Yeah I sore one come up on car sales six months ago and haven't seen one since. I will keep my eyes open I'm sure one will come up evently.

This is incorrect. There were a few 3 door mk4's that made it to our shores as part of a supposedly "bungled order" back in the day - in Canberra of all places, though where they are now is anyone's guess.

Thanks for the awesome reply, I found one for sale about 8 months ago in Canberra and I am kicking my self I didn't buy it. I thought I would just put it out there. But it's probably extremely unlikly one will come up, but I will never know until I ask hahaha

That's where I'd be looking. Perhaps VW Lennock might be able to point you in the right direction since they sold the cars ...

P.S.
It was mentioned in the other thread that some of the cars were pretty basic in spec. ie. no air-conditioning etc. but take that with a grain of salt.

There's a few 3 door non R32 Mk4's in Aus, but not sure if there are any for sale

Here's one I know of. Now 1.8t with r32 seats. Think it's for sale for the right price, hopefully the owner chimes in

Another is 2.8 4mo, just had a full respray, recaros leathers etc.
