  • 1.8t AGU Breather Line Pipe identification help needed

    Hi guys,

I am trying to find a replacement for the hose below. I rang VW spare parts and they want $139 for this pipe. I don't really want to pay that much for a rubber pipe.

It is kind of a strange pipe in that both ends have different diameters. The part number is highlighted below. But when I search on that part number on ebay etc... it doesnt bring anything back.

However, another part looks similar... 06A103221BQ.. Would this fit my car?

Or can anyone recommend where I can find a better value for money pipe? Thanks.

That hose you linked to should work fine. I think I ordered a replacement from ECS, the one for AWD engine code fits the agu

Tooleys in Sydney might have them in stock, and from previous experience with PCV pipes, they'll be at least 20% cheaper.

Worth giving them a call, even if you've got to pay for postage.

I messaged tooleys and for a local product the price is much better than the dealer. Shipped for $87.50.

... But still that's $37.50 more than buying it from the USA.

        Thanks again.

You might have to flick them an email and see if they've got an agent or distributor out here.

Prices aside, that's a pretty good long-term solution.

It was a no brainer really. $50 delivered for a silicone pipe from Creation Motorsport.
