They seem to be getting really good power from the GT28RS.
I did look at the GT28RS and it looked like I was going to do that for quite some time.
To do the GT28RS, you also have to do larger injecters, larger MAF housing, new manifold, new re-map (APR doesn't do a map for the GT28RS), new dump pipe, oil return pipe, LSD.... The list just goes on...
To do it properly, your looking at anywhere between 7-8k!
I decided to do the K04 and buy myself a bugger off size plasma as wellOriginally posted by WhubbsieThere is nothing better than a polo badge, thats why you will notice Veyron drivers with polo gti badges.... they know where the true sizzles at!

How to make a grown up man cry
Well today my car basicly got turned back to stock. It's monster truck high with piddly little 16" wheels back on. Not a happy camper!!!
As some of you know, I copped a defect for my wheels. Truth be told, it was only a matter of time and I didn't get fined so all in all I got off pretty lucky. I popped down to see Milan and the gang this morning from TCCA and they painfully put it all back to stock. Then popped it around the corner to an AUVI station to get a full inspection done on the car. My car is now roadworty, legal and boring.
Clearly the police officer who pulled me up has no taste in wheels!
To cheer myself up, I went and purchased a few tasty little treats for my car to try to cheer me up. Thanks Milan for having a few impulse purchases laying around
But what to do now... With a few modifications, I think we can get the wheels inside the guards and then hopefully I can get them engineered. Failing that, I might have to sell the car because I love these wheels too much to dispose of them (almost more than the car itself). I could get new barrels for them so they arn't so wide, but that would then make these the worlds most expensive set of LM's. I'm yet to price them but I dare say they won't be cheap. What to do with my conundrum...Originally posted by WhubbsieThere is nothing better than a polo badge, thats why you will notice Veyron drivers with polo gti badges.... they know where the true sizzles at!

My boys were honoured to work on your car mate, and glad it worked out well at the end... but I have an idea that might cost a bit, but you get to keep your car and the wheels as they are... there is a very nice kit made by Koennigseder in Austria, wide wheel arches and all. Looks the goods, sure you would like it. I'll see if I have any pics of it and post it...Chers and keep the phat look

Hmmmmmmm. It's crazy. I like it a lot!
Unfortunetly from the research I have done so far, I'll still have to get my wheels at minimum 1/2" skinnier to meet the RTA's guidelines. I'm allowed to go 2" bigger than the largest wheel available wich is the Aristos @ 7.5".
I wonder if they'll round up? lolOriginally posted by WhubbsieThere is nothing better than a polo badge, thats why you will notice Veyron drivers with polo gti badges.... they know where the true sizzles at!

Its fun spending other peoples money.
Looks like this kit. Its pretty cheap actually. But the front bumper is so not worthy.

Firing order hasn' changed, just didn't bother entering it correctly. BTW, the (lousy) drag vid doesn't do it justice. It was a 39 deg C day and g'box shift was too harsh on the 1-2, it was breaking traction on the 1-2 and was pretty scarey as the track prep wasn't great). On a cooler night, it ran 11.1 sec @ 124 mph, full weight 1,777 kg, radial tyres. If I wanted to set it up for drag racing it would easily do a 10 second pass.
Nah, thats pretty good on street radials. Pitty it isnt blown, cause then i could respect it.
