      Thanks Gents. Much appreciated.

I idea I had that may help all newby's out is to have a standard list of these sorts of options so we can be refered to it and any the place to go to get them etc.

Also a list or servey of what is the most recomended priority of hot ups to do and the costing of that and where to get them etc.

I know everyone loves talking about it and debating it etc, which is great as a newby to meet and interact with you all, this just may help overyone in the process and be a cool point of difference about this forum...?

Thanks again Gents and I now have some more food for though

      Have a great weekend

It is good to be able to discuss stuff like this but unfortunately, as you have now witnessed, within a short time the topic really draws out some pretty immature reasoning.

Heaps of people have heaps to say and yet most are just giving you a vote for their own "brand". What's even worse is that some people will "share" their "knowledge" without having even taken the plunge of purchasing a chip for their own car.

I hope some of the Sydney guys can help you out with a test drive, if not you are welcome to test drive mine if you want to make the trip down to Canberra.

Once you have a feel for the different brands "in car" (and I don't believe you will find a "decisive" difference there) go talk to the respective dealers to get a feel for who you will be giving your money to and getting support from if you need it.

        Cheers,

        Snowy.

Yep right on Snowy I was going to say something similiar to my post on the first page! Make sure that you try the ones that you want to try, so you can't say I didn't try that one. Its a tough decision and alot of money to put down my chip purchase was expensive but not like a turbo car obviously more cause of the gains but neverless still a lot! Anyone can say that X chip is better than Y chip or whatever but its really what chip suits you thats the key
I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...
