Mk4 GTI with Chip - Sydney

Hi guys. I have the stock Mk4 GTI and wanted to do some research on what you guys recomend the highest and if possible to let me go shot gun for a quick blocky so I know what exactly I'm looking at.

So far I know there are :
- Giac
- ARP
- OETTINGER

Whats the pros and cons. There is quiet a lot of support for the ARP as they have upgrades and levels to work through...

Im not going to go into any depth cos everytime talk starts over chips, it turns intro a massive **** storm. But if i had a GTI id get GIAC.

Frequist - Just make sure that you have a look at all of the different chips as there are a few more that you haven't looked at! I know that there is also Revo and MTM (pm gpk_gti as he has MTM) but there is also another one that a mate of mine did on his passat turbo pm 1DUB2C for it as I can't remember which one it was when he told me

I know there is bluefin but I am not sure if they do mk4s only know of mk5s

All I am saying is that make sure to try before you buy to see if you are happy as all people should know and have experienced this its a very big purchase and expensive one to!!!

GIAC makes a little more power and is more brutal in its acceleration.
APR is has a smoother power-band and is more expensive.

Really depends what you are after.. APR's graph is smooth and power delivery is more constant...

while Giac you experience the rush at certain RPM..
