CV Joint/Shaft

Was driving from canberra to Newcastle When all of sudden my fromt end started shaking whenever i accelerated. took it into the mechanics in Newcastle and they said my L/H CV joint had **** it self and neeeds replacing. can any one give me any advice on how much im going to pay to get it replaced or where i can get it replaced??? need to know ASAP. too scared to drive it...

$150 per joint should be about right. (Might want to do both at the same time depending on your cars kms)

i got quoted $200 for the boot only incl fitting!! Do CV joints differ much on R32s?

Morto, what car are we talking here?
Just the part for the outer L/H CV on a 4motion is around $800
Other non 4wd may be less..
