Hi - I want to paint my hubs and spacers the same colour to make them less obvious - can I use normal paint or do I need heatproof caliper paint for this purpose? Any ideas?

it depends how you drive.
i've done my hubs & calipers in the past with standard pressure pack & they've been fine but if you tend to get up it a bit then you'll need paint that will take some temp.carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic
I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums

Time to visit supercheap and the 3m aisle...
UOTE=mikk;819142]heat proof will probably be cheaper and less effort in the long run[/QUOTE]sigpicBora V6 4Mo 2003 http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/foru...ser-72675.html

i'm with Brad on this one.
depends on how you drive... but considering you should really heat up your brakes when bedding in the new pads normal paint will flake off if you are doing this properly.
the extra cost is worth the time and effort when having to redo this job.
