Gauging interest in doing a group buy on getting some floor mats made. “Replica” R32 mats that will fit Golf and Bora (maybe Beetle as well I'm not 100% sure?)
You’d probably realise if you have tried that you cant get the OEM Golf R32 ones and second hand sets sell for a couple of hundred bucks
We need approx 50 units to make it worthwhile to get them made. Approx cost will be in the order of $100 shipped in Aus but of course that depends on the final numbers, more if its less and less if its more. Made by a local company in Melbourne called custom car mats
Car mats
They can come with oval or round fittings depending on what you specify so can accomodate old and new models
Will look similar to the oem ones (photo below LHD but otherwise will be the same including placement of logo) and will be Black with Grey piping and Grey .:R logo on front mats
If there are other colours wanted grey with grey that is OK and can be accomodated the important bit is getting the qty high enough to justify getting them made, pretty much they could do combinations of any colour they offer
This GB is for 4 mats
Just reply and say yes and how many sets you are after
Try and keep the thread clean otherwise it will be a nightmare to work out who is interested
If it looks like there are enough interested people then I'll update this post with those names and my email address and get you to email me your contact details inc address and phone number what colour and type of fittings, where you want them shipped to or if you will pick up. I'll pass them onto the manufacturer and they'll contact you and process on your credit card or you can eft I assume
