You can pick up a good condition 2nd hand R32 wheel for ~$500, or pay about $800 for a newie landed from overseas.Nothing to see here...

This car is 2001 & has been for sale for ages as mentioned before, like a couple of years I think! I believe it was imported from NZ - have a search through the Mk 4 section, it's been discussed plenty of times so you should be able to find some more info on it.
On that basis, they may not even recognise it since it wasn't an AU model.

Surely shannons would insure it, give them a call.03 MkIV GTI - K04-001, APR 2.5" TBE/TIP/Software, Forge FMIC, GFB DV+, Powergasket+, Dark Tint, 17" Bora Sport, Bilstein shocks, Eibach springs, BMC CDA, Dieselgeek SS, Hella Celis, R32 Alloy Trim...

I think Al spoke with Konig and they sent him a few parts to modify his R32 seats, but they were found to be incompatible as the VW seats don't have the internal bracing?
Can't remember the exact details as it's been a few years, but it'd be on the VWvortex R32 forums.
Anyway, the point of this story is that VW R32 Konigs don't have harness slits.79 MK1 GLD
