I'm considering a V6 4mo Bora and am interested in your opinion of ownership in the last six months ?

Do you still love it as much as the day you got it ?

I got my 01 in March and really like the car. Great in the wet (awd) and a real sleeper in overall performance. Well put together, leather seats, the works. Stock suspension could be firmer for entusiastic driving.

Love my 03 v6 4mo Bora .. Great car.. problem is I only own cars for about 6 months then get bored with them so I am putting her up for sale now. Someone will get a great deal. I am only the second owner. I highly recommend these cars .. even if you have 3 kids they are still not too bad for room/

        Cheers ..Bruce

I freaking love mine, which is why i am toying with copying Who and throwing big casherachi at it for a turbo.

Yes .. I was driving home the other day on a tricky road .. and was really grooving on this little car .. feeling guilty cause I m thinking of selling it. I guess I could find a cheap beat up old 4x4 and keep the Bora. That would mean I would need to start on some Bora mod though .. hmmm where to start?

I miss my bora a lot, they are a fantastic car.
Only reason I got rid of mine was desire to go fast!

Could have gone fast in the bora, I plan to You should have as-well nothing like a fast sleeper with a bit o' luxury.

at double the cost, and if something breaks (which is inevitable), not cheap to fix
                  Plus I can go sideways
For a street car, they are fantastic though.

Ah, Rubbish no excuse Nothing ever brakes on VW.
And you could if you tried hard enough and got the rear kicking in.
How is the skyline going though?

hey guys, Ive been reading this thread and it seems like you all know a **** load about the Bora.

I just bought a 2004 4 motion Bora as well. Bog stock accept for a BMC filter/induction and Haldex controller change. Apparently it pushes more through the back wheels. These were both on the cars when I got it. Everything else is dead stock.

My question. If I get a custom flash will it work with the standard exhaust or am I wasting my time? Howe much would it cost and what do they do?

BTW, I love the car. Feels like its worth 10x more than what I bought it for. I agree standard suspension is to soft.
