      The standard .:R seats did.

IMHO there was no "memory function" for any of the seats

Which one would you guys prefer to have, and MKIV or a MKV?
I agree the interior could have been a bit more refined in the mk5 compared to Audi, but still looks more modern and I'll take the new chasis and better brakes of the Mk5 over the mk4, plus all the newer gadgetry.

It's just the unexpected repairs i hate with second hand cars, vs budgeting and repayments etc. Although hopefully this can be minimised with proper pre-purchase checks, but i sweared never to buy a Euro that was more than ~4 years old again. Mind you could have been the previous owner of an Audi I bought that had let it get run down towards the end before he was going to trade it in.

The fact is after 100,000km things will need replacing but as long as you find a good mechanic and dont go to the dealer should be ok.

Can anyone tell me how much the 100,000km service on a MKIV R32 would cost?

No not yet (i wish), just trying to figure out how much the car will cost, just not sure about servicing.

It's acutally the 105,000km service and it's a normal standard service. As always it depends on who you take it too. A dealer will always be more expensive. A specialised VW independent servicer will be significantly cheaper and the quality of service and care is also better in my experience.
A normal service at the dealer was around $500 the last time I checked.
60,000 and 120,000km services are both the big ones (Haldex, spark plugs etc). Over $1k from the dealers last I heard.
Will also vary across the country as well.
                    Cheers,
                    Trent

JMAC should be able to give you an idea. Maybe try sending him a pm. Can't hurt.

If only that was closer to here i would consider buying it lol.

Nearly all the other examples of r32's are over 30k easily which sucks.
