How many MK4 R32's are left in Aus

I've got no idea, is there a special place where the number is supposed to be? I just thought you guys with the numbers had a separate plaque on purchase. If you could point me in the right direction that would be awesome.

talking to someone just now and they say that 130 out of the 200 have been written off?? Cant be that high can it! (by the way dont really know this guy with the info!!) We need to start a poll of numbers and owners, get a list made up for all to see! Can we make a list of more than 70 left in one piece in Aus.???????....................... -VW-

WALOS.

I've only seen about 6 - 8 in the last five years that have been written off...

Off the top of my head:

One went through a creek early in the piece and was flood damaged w/o
One caught fire in a shed and was burnt out whilst getting a stereo fitted.
...and maybe five or six seen through Fowles/Pickles auctions.

seems well excessive amount for me, just what I was told but it would be cool to work out how many are actually left in Aus. There must be some sort of records somewhere, goverment transport etc, there must be a way to find out!? state by state there must be records of whats cars are on the road, someone on here must have a back door into these finding!????
