That is why im confused when you're saying that your rear sway bar bushes need replacing.
Look at the following images. If you look under the back of your car, do you see anything that looks like the sway bars in the pics?
hmmmm so i guess i might consider getting one then!
(i purchased the car stock)
and so the squeak is possibly the rear axle bushing hey... think i'll let that slide for now... it's only a minor creaking sound. oh yeah it's more of a creaking sound rather than a squeaking sound...
sway bars... so where's some good places to get them locally? (cos ordering them off ecs tuning would cost an arm and a leg for shipping!)

ps, fitted it today, shall see how it goes, feels more responsive around corners, a bit more planted on the road i guess you would say. thinking about the front swaybar now.
question, if i get the front swaybar would that mean the original comes off and i wont have to replace the factory bushings that are wearing out?!?Platinum Grey mkV Jetta turbo, Viezu motorsport map, GT-CX 18", lowering to come

Hey guys, I've just read through this and several previous threads about rear sway bars as I'm looking at this for my car.
I can't really justify paying an extra $200-300 for Neuspeed or H&R after reading on here - it's a daily drive not a track car so Whiteline adjustable seems to be the consensus as a good all-round unit.
I came across another Aust-based brand, 'Selby', but haven't heard of them before. Oettinger also have a kit but I'm not sure if that's one of the other brands re-badged or not.
Hopefully I'm on the right track! Audi-tone & others, any follow up comments to this?

Guys,
I know that this thread is a bit old, but I thought I would say this anyway...
I saw this thread and got a bit excited as I wanted to get the whiteline rear sway, but the lowest quote I got was $252.00. So I gave these guys at Burson a ring and got quoted $250!
I told them that on the forums a guy got one from them for $190, he replied I'll see what I can do, and I now have one on order for an even $200.
Interesting how they lower the price when challenged...

I know in dredging up an ancient thread here...
I just picked up a whiteline 22mm non adjustable swaybar from Camden gti and I'm trying to confirm how it bolts on as obviously it has no instructions.
From my understanding the brackets require 4 bolt holes to be drilled into the beam axle and from pictures I am not sure if I need longer hock bolts or if I need a piece of square metal tube to space out another set of mounts from the shock mount if that makes sense.
The newer bars have a clamp with a u bolt around the beam axle which wouldn't work with this bar.
thanks for any info
