Those are some pretty good gains, can the same be had on mk5? I should get the cams and already have headers!

no headers , no cats , no pullies , no short shift , stock clutch and flywheel , V8 throttle body with larger MAF housing , modified stock airbox , solid mounts , no haldex . I wouldnt recommend increase in bore and stroke , the piston speed was getting close to the limit for the 3.2 . Stock compression cause it was running pump gas . Headwork would have helped heaps , as would changing the rod ratio and getting lighter pistons . Everything is available from VW Motorsport bar the manifold , but , it costs 3 sometimes 4 times as much as aftermarket suppliers . I still have access to it but unless your serious please dont pm me . for example , the cams are around 5000 euro and are approx 288's .
i do know wat it cost for racecars cause i have built one and its not cheap
Deffently some interestin stuff happenin in this topic

Seb, when you say V8 throttle body and MAF, can you advise which engine that was off?PM if you are looking for: R32 rear sway bar; R32 suspension springs; Euro Headlight switches

The Mk 6 Golf R would probably be a more sensible idea unless someone comes out with an affordable & Reliable RHD SC kit, would be fun but not the best investment..

It was from an early s4 v8 I think , Im not sure , it was used cause thats the bolt pattern that was on the manifold .
Rev limit was 8000 rpm based upon the rules of procar at the time , it was later lowered to 7300 rpmBug_racer supports the rebellion of the euro revolution

can you imagine how crazy the car would of been if every hp adding bolton was added including a high cfm cylinder head with those some (where around 288 cams)i know these cars were on the podium most of the time because i was at nearly every race in nsw, pretty long time ago.and i was pretty much everyday on holidays at the vw racing garage at homebase.(mascot) even got to meet the drivers stuart mccoll just before the tragic accident.
has anyone got extra pics.~\\VoLkS//~\\MaN//~
