New OEM end links in, sway bar forced onto the lose/street setting
Found out the rattle in my exhaust, inside of the cat is stuffed, so thinking i might just get a straight through section as it'll be cheaper then a new one im guessing I never wanted to bother with trying to make this car fast, but might look into seeing if a straight section and more free flowing air in take with be worth while
Have only just seen this thread now. Looks dope on the RS brother! Are you still going to refurb them? The lips would come up super bling if you just stripped the clear off them and polished them up, wouldn't need to disassemble! Keep up the choice work.

yep i will be, iv got a new set of splits that ill be doing first, putting on the car, then re doing the bbs. Plan to swap the bbs around a bit to make them all a bit wider. now wanting atleast 8s up front and 9.5-10 out back after seeing how much room i actually have.

I ditched my stock headlights and replaced them with some spanking (non genuine) ones. Makes an amazing difference, my originals were *really* bad though.
Totally love the wheels. Looks great!
What coilovers did you get and approx how much were they? I'm looking around for some now.

How is the ride/handling ? I was worried about getting cheaper ones in case they were ****.
I had STUPID hard track coilovers (HKS) in my old GTR, handled beautifully, but Sydney roads almost killed me.
The ones I got are just OEM style with the black (not silver) background. My Bora already had fogs and a switch (not sure if it was an option?) so just got ones with the fogs.
ahh ok, mine is a pov pack 2lt, so i didnt get fogs. So new wiring and switch were required.

I've had a few people tell me mine seem ok compared to others. I live out sticks and basically my gf WANTS me to get air ride so its nice to drive again. because our roads are bull**** its hard to tell how they compare. every lowered car iv been in sucks around here, even dads brand new passat it can hurt to drive and its stock. in Melbourne and Canberra when im there its not to bad on these

Sooooo after a massive battle on my old computer I now have access to photo bucket.

ewwwww, so much room between wheel and guard.
Just clearing (milk bottle is 10cm wide..)
No more poke/properfitment
No more fatness..
Have also had my catalytic converter replaced with a high flow one, and new clutch pedal after the old one got repaired and reinstalled (thank very much to my gfs dad for the repair!
Getting the height right on the car was interesting, rear ideally only had to be lifted 1cm to clear, but I lifted it a inch to make sure, front was lifted 50mm or so + some in increased tyre diameter and it only just cleared…
Passed in flying colours and got the car back on the road. The girl at Vic roads apparently wasnt impressed that the officer didn’t a) measure the car, b) leave her a point to double check against. But not my problem now..
Helper springs will be getting removed next week hopefully, and some new wide 19s will be fitted under the coil overs, while my 18s are away getting painted

4x18 (nats surprise if all goes to plan)
