    hi all,

    i was just flipping through the R's manual, and apparently its supposed to tell me how much further i can drive on whats in the tank.... except it dosnt.

    does anyone have that option on theirs?

    Distance to empty can be enabled via VAG-Tacho. Have a search for it. Don't know if anyone over there in Perth has one. It's kind of nifty and reasonably accurate.

      would be very handy, i keep running too low for comfort to and from work...

      anyone in perth have it then?

        unless you live a long way from work, the simple solution is to just put fuel in more often

        If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

          Balkanac has a V Checker but I don't think this (or VCDS / VAG-COM) can do it...
          Seems to be some direct reprogramming on the computer not an on/off option from what I've read before. I'd be interested too.

            ha yeah topping it up really does seem more logical,
            but ive gotta drive out to the valley each morning, so sometimes if im a little low i get worried.....

            time to search the forums then, ill keep yall posted if an answer pops up

              I wanted to get that done on mine too, but its not easy. It needs programming. I remeber the guy from NZ has done it (hitman32 or something) but i havent seen from him in a long time. If you manage to get it done let us know

                  Contact graeme86 he is in Brisbane and has done it for people here but he may know someone over there with the software to do it as well as they tend to share info amongst themselves on how to use the software. He enabled it on my car and it works a treat.
