  • eoi: keyless entry (no button pressing)

Anyone interested in this theory? (proved/works)

will work for all mk4/mk5s and skoda/audi's too.

A new keyfob will be used (buttons only, not blade/chip).
A sensor installed (only power needed to be installed)
VagCom will have to adapt/program new keyfob into your vehicle so you can unlock and lock. (so you will need to get to somebody with vagcom or vds to reprogram the keyfob which takes 2/3 mins)

Walk from 0.8m->3m and you vehicle will unlock/lock when you walk up to it or leave your vehicle without having to press your lock/lock button.

    ANy interest?

I will be installing one on my vehicle mid month to test.

I think I would go crazy... I'd have to keep leaving the keys 3M from my car and going back to check it was really locked

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

I'd love to do it but my car doesn't have remote locking as it is....is the option still available to me Pierre? Oh, and does it have buttons to override your distance lock/unlock feature? (ie, you're walking to and from your car and you just want it locked, or unlocked, the whole time.)

This isn't for MK3 Golfs FYI guys sorry!

                        Mk4 upwards only!

You can have it as close or as far as you like, most of these new lexus/merc cars these days have this feature nowadays
