          • Back Door Shenanigans my car interior was looking very similar last week good fun driving it around with nothing in it to hear the 3.2 do its thang!

10 days ago I bought a battery from autobarn, they gave me the wrong size went to return it today (but got a bosch battery from volkwerke instead) they wouldnt refund me my money. Not sure what I should do, after almost ripping the guy a new one I've got a store credit for $219. I feel they are in the wrong after selecting me the wrong battery, but what ever.

Anyone know of anything of VALUE in autobarn that is around the same price for a MK4? Or stock up on oils

                • Finished the sub box off. Working pretty decent but sound could be better.

And test fitted the new shoes for the weekend. (sorry about the crappy shots, doesnt look as good as it does imo.)

                    • Di-NOC'ed

A while ago I sourced a sheet of 3M DiNOC carbon vinyl and yesterday I finally got a chance to have a go at wrapping my interior trims...

                      Wrapped trim kit

Trim kit refitted.... stoked that I managed to line up the weave almost perfectly

While I was at it, I had a play with the door handle trims as well..

                        • the dinoc stuff looks way better than i thought. awesome job too, well done with the safety scissors

worth while thinking about tbh - the woodgrain is, well lets be honest, its freaking horrible.

                            • I cant recall the exact price but it was 4'x2' sheet, I threw into my last huge order from ECS. I think it was about $50-60, hell lot cheaper than the OEM Alum kit as per .:R model

                              • the dinoc stuff is cheap to buy and top-shelf BFYB regardless.

you can even find ebay sellers with some aluminium-look kits already cut in the templates of all VAG interiors, and thats probably the road i'll go down. I was chatting to the 3M guys at Sydney's Motorex show a few months back, and they're fine with anyone selling the dinoc stuff so long as people realise its designed for interior only and won't last if exposed to weather. but for internal its great stuff.
