Fairly certaing they are Oettinger Sport wheels... and he has replaced the grill as "Quote: the white/chrome grille was just a bit to 90s for me"

The grille is the standard one painted black. I just did it with a $9 can of flat black from Bunnings and every time it gets scratched I pull it off and touch it up a bit

Shadow_Rusty is right, The wheels are Oettinger RE 17x8 and they came from a Bora Sport.

When I started looking at Boras I knew right away these were the wheels I wanted. There was a set for sale on this forum just a couple of weeks after I bought the car but I couldn't get it together to buy them before someone else snapped them up, then a few weeks later when my tax return came in a set were for sale on eBay.

My wheels have been refurbished and whoever did it just painted right over the polished lips of the original finsih, I think when the tyres need changing I'll probably go matt black centres with polished lips or back to a more original finish with the charcoal silver centres like this one...

                          • k this is gonna sound n00b question, but did you just use like a paint brush from bunnings ? or are there 'special' ones for painting car bumpers/grilles ? $9 for a grille makeover sounds a little too good to pass up

Just regular can of matt black spray paint, leftover from the "joey mod" on the headlights.

It didn't take much effort at all, just remove the grille (follow the steps here >> Bora Anni Headlights (Joey Mod) - Complete (61 Pics) - uk-mkivs) and pop the badge out then separate the grille from it's backing section. When you paint it just do really light coats then wait ten minutes and go over it again then repeat, it took me about 5 or 6 really light coats to get it how I wanted, that way you can get into all the cracks and crevices without having drips running all over it.
