Drove it to Melbourne, didnt miss a beat with a very full load and averaged 8.1l /100km for the whole trip from Brisbane. I tested the MFD with the first 2 top ups and it was pretty much bang on, economy probably would have been better if I had new tires fitted before I left but there just wasnt time to do it. That comfort switch would have been nice for the long drive combined with the effortless surge the V6 provides when confronted with a lesser make of car in front.2003 Bora 4Motion

Found water in my ECS relay for my OEM fogs. (could explain why they are not working...)
Pulled the passenger rear door chrome trim off after it got caught on something and was sticking out, meaning some nice scratches on the front passenger door where its been touching...
Would this be it? Volkswagen Jetta IV 2.0 > Exterior > Body > Mouldings > ES#9191 Door Moulding Chrome Insert - Left Rear - 1JM853505A2ZZ
it does say 'from 2004' model, but in the US not all mk4 jetta/boras came with chrome, where as in AUS 95% of them do?

A good way to seal small electrics is to put them inside a Condom and then wrap electrical tape arround the condom/wires...

I'm going the other way, I want to eliminate all chrome on my Bora.
What I would really like is black textured rub strips like this Volkswagen Jetta IV VR6 24v > Exterior > Body > Mouldings > ES#251377 Complete Textured European Rub Strip Kit - 1J4898001

Got a price for the chrome trim, $290... lol. then found it was cheaper to buy the whole moulding at $190.. Still a bit more expensive then the $50-70 price range I was thinking... Might try and straighten mine out now its off the car, and wait till my next ECS buy, which wont be long away anyway
Can anyone confirm the part number? Rear passenger (left side) just the chrome, 4door bora 2001Last edited by dylan8; 08-09-2011, 12:51 PM.

thats what i thought, only one type. but when I look it up under 2lt it says they only suit 2004 model. Guess that's just the US versions...?
