Is this the convenience control module where the indicators flash three times when the turn signal is actuated briefly? (ie. "comfort turn")

• Drove it to Melbourne, didnt miss a beat with a very full load and averaged 8.1l /100km for the whole trip from Brisbane. I tested the MFD with the first 2 top ups and it was pretty much bang on, economy probably would have been better if I had new tires fitted before I left but there just wasnt time to do it. That comfort switch would have been nice for the long drive combined with the effortless surge the V6 provides when confronted with a lesser make of car in front.

• Found water in my ECS relay for my OEM fogs. (could explain why they are not working...)
Pulled the passenger rear door chrome trim off after it got caught on something and was sticking out, meaning some nice scratches on the front passenger door where its been touching...

it does say 'from 2004' model, but in the US not all mk4 jetta/boras came with chrome, where as in AUS 95% of them do?

Still, I really need to add more chrome... (Just not the side trims...)

• I'm going the other way, I want to eliminate all chrome on my Bora.

What I would really like is black textured rub strips like this Volkswagen Jetta IV VR6 24v > Exterior > Body > Mouldings > ES#251377 Complete Textured European Rub Strip Kit - 1J4898001

HAHA that would be a good look! I didnt have part of it secured and think it has tipped up to basically collect the water. Otherwise it should be ok normallly

I agree, the black plastic and just colourcoded can look good! Just on my bora being black I think it can set it off and give it a VIP look

That would look sweet against the white. Only thing is even though its a mod its sort of a downgrade...

Got a price for the chrome trim, $290... lol. then found it was cheaper to buy the whole moulding at $190.. Still a bit more expensive then the $50-70 price range I was thinking... Might try and straighten mine out now its off the car, and wait till my next ECS buy, which wont be long away anyway
Can anyone confirm the part number? Rear passenger (left side) just the chrome, 4door bora 2001
