Definately interested in where you sourced the parts and any issues you had with the installation, that looks rteally nice and brings the old bora right up to new car standards.

Yep. Can't beat an OEM Sat Nav with the display in the cluster.
That's a low mileage Bora by the way!
There is also another set of buttons you can get for the MFSW with a phone control on the left side where the blank button is.
One of the T5 phone modules then allows a phone address book display in the FIS as well.

Parts are available on e-bay but you need to check the German e-bay thats where all the good stuff is for vw's. I installed myself which brings down cost but all up not that expensive. You can put in original gear or buy stereo system and spend around the same!!

Thanks jpflorez, First is nav unit around $400-$550 on e bay should come with aerial, steering wheel and air bag $250-$300, dash insert around $500-$600,tmc module $250-$300, connectors and wiring $50-$60, you will also need map cd but i'm sure these can be found cheap i was lucky a mate had version 12. All the stuff was from the States and Germany.
Sometimes installs like this get in your head and your not happy with yourself untill you prove it can be done.

Took it to the shops, and noticed that the Dash Lights always on when key is in and on acc/on even with the headlights off

When you say "dash lights" do you just mean the cluster or every light on dash including switches etc??
If its just the cluster, then the previous owner may have done the "dash lights" mod.
If its everything on the dash then the headlight switch may be faulty.PM if you are looking for: R32 rear sway bar; R32 suspension springs; Euro Headlight switches

Starting the mods on my MkIV R32 when the parts arrive
So far this is the list:
Rear wiper mod - mk5 aeroblade or remove it, unsure yet, what are your thoughts?
VWVortex.com - Removing/Delete Rear Wiper *DIY*
Painting brake calipers to deep pearl blue - G2 Kit
LB5R 6X Deep Blue Pearl Audi Volkswagen Custom Color Match Brake Caliper Paint
Floor mats need replacing - Does anyone know where I can get some r32 ones from? I've searched high and low!
Parklights, to white bulbs instead of yellowish
Painting interior scratched/peeling interior parks, steering shroud and shifter trim bezle
Interior leds, which I saw on this thread and thought were pretty neat
Also I'm changing my aftermarket stereo leds from green to red and blue, which I'll also post up the process.MK4 R32 #80

Floor Mats you can get from TMTUNING
